Access to cash anytime, anywhere
Introducing Euronet in Malaysia
Euronet, a leading global financial technology solutions and payments provider has further expanded into territories outside of Europe with a diversified go-to-market strategy that includes the deployment of the company’s independent ATM network followed by strategic agreements with financial institutions for ATM network participation agreements and advanced operational services.
We have installed our ATMs after PayNet, the national payments network of Malaysia, granted us the access to the Shared ATM Network (SAN) in the country as an Industry ATM Acquirer (IAA) for processing domestic cash withdrawal operations.
Moreover, Euronet has also received a principal ATM acquiring license from international payment networks to acquire and process international card transactions in the country. We at Euronet have been serving the Malaysian market of approximately 32.7 million people through our association with PayNet for more than a decade.
In addition, we have the license to deploy independent ATMs, and intend to place machines in remote and high-traffic locations where the country’s estimated 15,000 ATMs/CRMs of which approximately 64% are located at bank branches are still inaccessible.
